Hello, and welcome to Charlie's blog! This is a new thing I’m going to try to write once every week. This is the week of March 14, 2009. I just went undefeated in basketball, in church league. We went undefeated last year as well. Due to some “technical difficulties”, I can’t get you any pictures on that right now. Sorry about that.
But anyways, I need to tell you a little about myself, if you don’t already know this. I have 2 sisters and a brother. I am in the 4th grade. My favorite things to do are read, eat, and play sports.
Last Saturday, after my sister’s soccer game, we went to Bruster’s because they were giving away free ice cream. The catch: You had to wear your p.j.s.
This is a picture of us and our friends. (to be attached)
I also am writing a story. I will give you a sneak peek of Chapter One right after these commercial breaks.
I call this Mashed Potato Man and the Attack of the Arrogant Apples.
Chapter 1
“As I said before, I don’t know what happened,” said Mashed Potato Man to the Super Spaghetti. “He just said something and, the next thing I knew, I had powers.”
“What did he say? I must know to determine what your condition is,” the Super Spaghetti said in his Italian accent.
“I think he said ‘Go out and help people’ or something like that,” Mashed Potato Man replied.
“I cannot determine anything until you are absolutely sure what he said!” the Super Spaghetti exclaimed.
They argued for some time more, but it would be dull to put it all in writing, so I’ll just skip to after the argument. As they were each walking home separately, the Super Spaghetti saw, though he didn’t know it at the time, the very same man that Mashed Potato Man saw. He said the exact same thing he said to Mashed Potato Man: “Go out and make a difference.” The Super Spaghetti did not remember anything until the next morning.
The end of Chapter One. I’ll give you a chapter each week, but I’m only on Chapter Five, but I’m still working on it.
That’s it for Week One. Thanks for reading this. Tune in next week for Chapter 2 of Mashed Potato Man and the Attack of the Arrogant Apples. I hope you like that too.
